On the morning of March 11, it was drizzling. In order to encourage foreign friends in Nantong to use practical actions to improve the ecological environment and strive to be the guardians of the green ecology, Nantong Foreign Affairs Office and Information Office organized the voluntary tree-planting activity in  SuXiTong Science and Technology Industrial Park. Representatives of foreign clients in Yanda Haimen were invited to participate in the event.

The representatives of foreign clients worked in groups of two or three. They work together to support, dig and cultivate soil to plant trees that symbolize friendship and environmental protection. Everyone also put up name tags on the trees they planted, and wrote their names or blessings. Representatives of foreign clients expressed that this event is very meaningful, and hoped that more trees will be planted in the future and the sky will be bluer, the water will be greener, and the air will be fresher.

After the tree-planting activity, the clients visited Nantong Logistics Base of Duku.The strong high-tech and cultural atmosphere at the scene impressed the foreign clients greatly.

Planting hope will become a forest. The activity deepened cultural and geographical impression of Nantong and the understanding of traditional Chinese festivals for foreign representatives of Yanda Haimen.
